Sporadic Signals at Best... and Lame Excuses

My neighbor and I have home businesses...his needs a constant signal 24/7, health-related...since Friday we've experienced very sporadic connections...

we've called multiple times. Different stories each time... sometimes it's an area-wide problem... sometimes they can't see any problem...

they'll send someone to look at our cable, but not for a week... and they'll bring a modem, which we don't need. (The first event last Friday blew out my modem, so it's new.) Finally spoke with the "vice-president", who promised to look right into. Then we hear Tier 2 has discovered it's an area-wide problem again....

yada yada yada.

In addition, I HATE their new policy of offerings platitudes like "We understand it's awful for you." Anyone like Verizon any better?
